Wei Yan (scientist)
Wei Yan is an American scientist and academic. He is a Professor at the Department of Physiology and Cell Biology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. Dr Yan has over 4000 citations with an h-index at 38 according to Google Scholar as of December 2014.
==Education==
Wei received his MD at China Medical University in Shenyang, China in 1990. He then obtained his PhD from the University of Turku, Finland in 2000, and took a postdoctoral position at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas until 2004.
